Sustainability at ALGECO
Sustainability and climate protection are very important to ALGECO and are an integral part of our corporate philosophy. We aim to work in a resource-efficient, responsible and economical manner in all business areas. As a specialist in modular room systems, ALGECO has set itself the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. An important strategy on this path is the continuous development of our intelligent circular economy and the associated gradual reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. We are convinced that sustainable action strengthens our own future viability and that of society as a whole.
What does sustainability mean for large companies like ALGECO ?
For companies like ALGECO , sustainability means always considering ecological, social and economic issues equally and bringing them into harmony. The aim is to achieve the set goals and create added value through sustainable and responsible business actions. The basis for this are the three pillars of sustainability, the ESG criteria: environmental, social and governance. They also provide the framework for ESG management at ALGECO , the implementation of which is not only in the hands of our ESG department, but involves all of our employees.
Our sustainable corporate philosophy
As a leading expert in modular space solutions, we are committed to ambitious goals based on the Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs ), the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations, and the UN Global Compact. Our main goal is to achieve Net Zero by 2050. This means reducing the entire greenhouse gas emissions of our value chain in order to achieve the 1.5 degree climate target as a company.

With our smart, flexible space solutions for living, working or working, we want to make an important contribution to the future of our society and use resources in the best possible way and thus protect them.
We support our customers, suppliers and other interest groups and stakeholders in meeting the challenges of climate change and generating growth through the circular economy. We focus on continually reducing our consumption of raw materials and reusing or recycling the building materials we use (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
In our circular business model (Loops within Loops), the majority of materials have a continuous lifespan. This system enables ALGECO to reuse modules, recycle materials and thus reduce resource consumption.
