The UN Global Compact calls on companies to align their operations and strategies with 10 universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption, and to take action to achieve specific goals. Since its inception in 2000, 12,000 companies have joined the initiative, committing to continue operating in a sustainable manner.

In line with the main focus areas of the UN Global Compact, Modulaire Group has set the following objectives: Environment: - The group's modular units are flexible and adapt to individual customer needs. They can be reused up to 20 times and are 96% recyclable. - The ecological footprint of assembling modular buildings can be up to 50% lower than that of buildings built on site using traditional construction methods. - Modulaire has prepared a plan to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Social: - The safety and well-being of colleagues is one of the most important things for Modulaire, which it promotes through various training programs. - The company is also on the right track in accepting diversity and difference. Governance: - Modulaire Group has focused on compliance and has therefore incorporated the principles of the UN Global Compact into its corporate policy. Modulaire Group recently appointed its first Chief Sustainability and ESG Officer, Inder Poonaji, who brings his experience as a sustainability professional to support the company’s efforts in this direction. The company will publish its first Sustainability and ESG Report in the second quarter of 2021.
